Undoubtedly, I am a bit late jumping onto the bandwagon of “blogging and self-promotion,” through publishing a blog about, who else, but myself, maggiesmusings.com narcisstic like all others? How interesting can this be you ask? Well, for starters, let’s begin by at least acknowledging that if not for the wonderful world of wordpress, I wouldn’t know the first thing about publishing –decoding code, i.e. — blogs and how sad the reality, that I actually need help creating this weblog in the first place.
With trial and error, thanks in part to our trusty online developer/designer and friend – DEREK HAMMOND – www.drumminguy.com - this will eventually become the homesite for daily musings, blogs, and a center forum for our family and friends featuring life experienced through maggiesmusings AND BEYOND. A special thanks to fellow blogger, Ellen Hobbs, who shared her vision and advice from her inspiring wordpress blog.
Maggiesmusings.wordpress.com will eventually feature daily musings, posts, blogs as a center forum featuring the happenings in life here and beyond for both family and friends to be kept up-to-date.
A lot of photos in the travel journal pages are currently being updated, but many photos are buried in film or actual photos. Remember those paper things? What a concept? Photos on paper? Tedious and time consuming, I’ll attempt to scan these photos and upload them, eventually publishing them here.
I would eventually want maggiesmusings.com to be a source of cultural enrichment, diversity, and education, using global travel as a way to help bridge countries into borderless destinations, highlighting our common traits.
